We absolutely loved our stay at Les Granges D'En Haut! The chalet was incredible, with a cozy fireplace and a beautiful terrace overlooking the mountains. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, especially the luxurious master suite with its own office area. The flat-screen TV and chimney in the living room added to the overall charm and relaxation of the space. As a young family, we couldn't have asked for a better accommodation!
Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of the sauna in the chalet. But hey, that's just my opinion, and I'm sure some guests would still enjoy it!

The location was killer - so close to the ski lifts in Les Houches, we practically rolled out of bed onto the slopes. And let me tell you, shredding the pow all day was epic! Plus, it was rad being at the start of hiking trails, perfect for exploring the breathtaking mountains. And after a day of adventure, hitting up the spa was the bomb! Those two hours of pure relaxation were pure bliss.
The only bummer was that the nightlife scene wasn't as happening as we'd hoped for. We were looking for some serious party vibes, but there weren't many options for young, party-going people like us.

We had the most incredible stay at Les Granges D'En Haut in Chamonix. The location was breathtaking, with snow-covered mountains and a serene valley. The chalet we stayed in was absolutely stunning, with a luxurious and stylish design that made us feel like we were living in a James Bond movie. The shared facilities, including the spa and restaurant, were top-notch and the staff were incredibly attentive and made us feel special. The food at the hotel was beyond amazing, with a 5-star breakfast that could feed a rugby team and a restaurant that served delicious, locally sourced cuisine. The added benefits of the in-chalet steam room and access to the heated pool and sauna were the cherry on top. we feel truly blessed to have stayed at this special place on our honeymoon.
Although the majority of our stay at Les Granges D'En Haut was exceptional, we did encounter a few drawbacks. The twin beds in our chalet were uncomfortable, and the top floor bedrooms were quite hot at night.

I had always wanted to visit the Maison de l'alpage in Les Houches because of its rich history and stunning views. So, I chose to stay at Les Granges D'En Haut - Chamonix solely for this reason. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the traditional recipes with the best AOP and AOC cheese from Savoie offered by the hotel. The staff had also received specific in-house training to ensure their safety and the safety of the guests, which I appreciated.
The location is a bit far and only accessible by car for skiing. I would have liked if the accommodation had better arrangements with ski hire areas in the area to provide ski equipment for guests.

The hotel's decoration is absolutely delightful! The attention to detail in the design of the chalets and the main building is exquisite. The use of wood throughout gives it a warm and cozy feel, perfect for a mountain retreat. The general areas, like the lobby, lounge, and restaurant, are also beautifully decorated and create a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. , the hotel's accessibility for senior people is commendable. There are elevators available, making it easy to navigate the different levels of the chalets, and the staff is always ready to assist with any special needs or requirements.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is more experienced staff. While the young children working there are friendly and enthusiastic, sometimes they lack the knowledge and experience to handle certain situations efficiently.
